The 2007 - 2008 Season
As you might have seen on the Home Page, we have finished the regular season in 3rd place and move on to the playoffs.
Good Luck Panthers!
We were off to a tough start with losses to St. John's Prep and a 2 point heartbreaker to St. Edmund.  This is a young team, with only 4 players returning from last year.  Our January games include Fontbonne, St. Edmund and Stella Maris in away games and St. Saviour and Bishop Loughlin at home.  We look forward to some wins and know that this season is far from over!

The 2006 - 2007 Season

A memorable season ended on March 15th, 2007.  Through it all, and facing many obstacles, McAuley's Panthers played with determination and we are all proud of them.
Special thanks to Coach Coles for all of her hard work!

N.Y. STATE CLASS "C" SEMIFINAL
It was an "All-Mercy" Semifinal as McAuley
faced Our Lady of Mercy Academy at St. John's University on March 15th.  Although we were defeated by our sister school by a score of 50-26, it was a privilege to play in Carnesecca Arena and a thrill to see "McAULEY vs. MERCY" on the scoreboard.

The Season:
Our Varsity Basketball Team finished a great season in 2
nd place with a record of 10 wins and 4 losses.  Last year, we finished the season in 6th place with 5 wins and 9 losses.  Coach Coles and the team worked hard and worked together to make this happen!

The Playoffs:
On Sunday, March 11
th McAuley fell to St. Saviour by a score of 43-34.  It was a disappointing loss, but we are very proud of our team's accomplishments during this great season.
McAuley was victorious in the first round playoff game on Tuesday, March 6
th vs. St. John's Prep.
On Thursday, March 8
th, McAuley defeated Fontbonne in the Semifinal.  All McAuley Alumnae, especially "Basketball Alumnae" are invited to cheer on the team.
